Individual Therapy

 

If you prefer to deal with your situation yourself in confidence individual therapy is the way to go. When you realise the time is right to talk things through you can contact André. You may decide during the course of your sessions that you would like to involve your partner, spouse or children if applicable. This is up to you.

 

Individual therapy constitutes a meeting with the psychologist where a safe space is created for you to discuss in depth specific areas of concern, such as:

 

  • Depression as a result of life circumstances.

  • Various anxiety problems associated with worry, obsessiveness, panic attacks, phobias.

  • Trauma counselling.

  • Impact of sexual or physical abuse from the past on your current life and relationships.

  • Self development.

  • Bereavement.

  • Decision making about important life issues.

  • Substance and / or alcohol abuse.

  • Low self esteem and lack of confidence.

  • Relationship problems.

  • Work and life stress management.

  • Career development and planning.

  • Conflict resolution.

  • Regaining focus with work or studies.

  • Finding your own direction in life.
